The EEM Method™: Beyond the White Noise

The Philosophy of Originality

In a world of "copy-paste" training, I chose to innovate. The EEM Method (Environmental Engagement Method)™ is my proprietary system, born from decades of working with the most challenging, independent, and high-drive breeds, specifically the Siberian Husky and the Belgian Malinois.

I don’t follow trends, and I don’t replicate others' work. To do so would be against my practice. I created EEM™ to better the industry for the dog.

The "One Size Shoe" Fallacy

The biggest mistake in modern dog training is the ideology that "one size fits all." It’s like walking into a massive pet store—you see aisles of harnesses, collars, and gadgets. The manufacturers put a tag on them with basic instructions, but they don't explain why that tool might fail your specific dog.

The industry is saturated with "white noise." Everyone wants to be right, and everyone wants to be put in the same category. But I believe we need to look beyond that.

The "Percentage" Principle

Every dog is wired differently, and every lifestyle has different requirements. I look at the dog industry as a series of specific percentages, each with its own unique needs:

  • The Sports Dog (Precision and drive)

  • The Protection Dog (Discrimination and stability)

  • The Farm Dog (Environmental focus and distance)

  • The City Dog (Coping with density and noise)

  • The Companion Dog (Harmony in the home)

In my practice, we don't treat a farm-dwelling dogs the same as a city-dwelling companion. We look at what each "percentage" actually does and we adjust our approach to fit.

The "Bugatti" Logic

I am not an ideologue. I have trained alongside world-class mentors in obedience, protection and sports work. I know that tools—when used by an educated handler—can be incredible.

It’s like a Bugatti. You don’t just buy a high-performance machine and expect to drive it at 200mph on day one. You need to learn how to control that power. If you buy a normal car, you still need lessons to pass your test. Tools are the same. However, for EEM™, I wanted to create a path that masters the Relationship first, so the "car" is always under control because the driver and the machine are in total sync.

The 5 Pillars of the EEM Method™

1. Environmental Adaptation

Like wildlife that must adapt when builders clear the woods for new homes, your dog must learn to navigate the human world. We don't hide from the environment; we teach the dog to process and thrive within it.

2. The Shared Bubble of Trust

We replace "robotic" positioning with a natural radius of engagement. Your dog stays close because the "Social Bubble" is where they feel most connected to you.

3. The No-Bribe Blueprint

We move away from transactional training. We don't use food to "trick" dogs into listening. We build Intrinsic Motivation, where the dog works because they value the partnership and the "job" at hand.

4. The Functional Street Heel

A heel designed for the real world. Whether crossing a bridge or navigating a trail, your dog maintains an "umbilical cord" of engagement, allowing them to be aware of their surroundings without losing their connection to you.

5. Cognitive Intelligence

We focus on how the dog is wired. By understanding the specific needs of your dog's "percentage," we build confidence and clear communication without the "noise" of unnecessary tools or gadgets.

The EEM Commitment

I am here for the owners who know that their dog is unique and that a "standard" harness or a "standard" treat-training class isn't enough. We are moving beyond the noise. We are building a connection that lasts when the leash comes off.

The EEM Method™ is created for handler and dog.
